Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Liaison/MRB Engineer or Principal Liaison/MRB Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located full time in Iuka, MS.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Liaison/MRB Engineer, Principal Liaison/MRB Engineer will work first or second shift and will assist with the disposition of withhold supplier tags.
Candidate should have experience with designing repairs for discrepant detail parts and assemblies fabricated from composite materials.
Candidate will Interface with multiple suppliers, disposition discrepant material tags, and interface with stakeholder groups such as Structural Analysis, Materials & Processing and Manufacturing personnel in the design center and build facilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are a must.
Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution System, MES, and a Northrop Grumman MRB EN signature is a plus.
This position can be filled at either the Engineer or Principal Engineer level.
Basic Qualifications:
Basic qualifications for a Liaison/MRB Engineer include a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and at least 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree in STEM with no years of experience
Basic qualifications for a Principal Liaison/MRB Engineer include a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and at least 5 years of relevant experience, a Master's Degree in STEM with 3 years of relevant experience, or a PhD Degree with no experience
Hands on experience in a composites manufacturing facility.
Experience with military specs and standards.
Experience with repair processes for composite materials used in aerospace structures.
Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final U.S. adjudicated government Secret clearance and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
Preferred Qualifications:
MS, Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
Current NGAS MRB buyoff authority. "EN".
Experience interfacing with a military customer
Active US Government Secret Clearance or above

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,100.00 - $112,700.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $93,300.00 - $139,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
