Full Job Description
What will you be doing?
Coordinate the engineering activities and the offshore operations for the umbilical pre-commissioning workscope of the projects.
Develop specific project umbilical pre-commissioning documents including philosophy, procedures. Assist with project schedule and budget forecast
Review/approval of pre-commissioning subcontractor project specific procedures and equipment spread. Ensure compliance with the required scope of work and specifications.
Participate in project risk analysis review, constructability review, HIRA sessions, operation readiness review and safety workshops, regarding pre-commissioning activities.
Overseas travel during engineering and offshore installation phases, as required
What experience would we like you to have?
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Naval Architecture or Ocean/Marine Engineering. Master's degree preferred. Candidate with no degree but with multiple years of experience in this position will be considered
Candidate should have experience with umbilical pre-commissioning engineering and project offshore execution (hydraulic pressure monitoring and testing, electrical and fiber optic testing)
Familiar with subsea field environment, P&ID's, subsea connection systems
Working in a team and multicultural environment with good communication skills
Ability to make decisions and interface with Subcontractors
