A successful incumbent is expected to (i) lead the development, documentation, and implementation of a Quality Management System aligned to ISO 9001:2015, establishing the procedures, process controls, and audit mechanisms required for certification readiness, and (ii) plan and implement corrective and preventive action programs to minimize losses and improve yields, determining improvement goals based on historical performance of KPIs.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop, document, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System, quality manual, procedures, work instructions, and records, aligned to ISO 9001:2015, supporting progression toward certification readiness
  • Plan and implement corrective and preventive action programs (8D/CAPA) to minimize losses and improve yields; determine improvement goals based on historical performance of KPIs
  • Develop and execute an internal audit program (ISO 9001:2015 clause 9.2) to monitor conformance to Quality Procedures and Inspection/Test Instructions; prepare management review inputs (clause 9.3)
  • Apply statistical methodologies for continuous improvement of processes (Gage R&R, hypothesis testing, control charts, process capability)
  • Establish and maintain process controls and inspection criteria for fabrication processes: weld quality (visual acceptance criteria, WPS and welder qualification records), metal cutting and forming (first-piece and in-process inspection), and paint/coating (surface preparation, film thickness, adhesion)
  • Develop workmanship and inspection standards for control panel assembly, including wiring verification, torque checks, and functional/electrical testing, with awareness of UL 508A and IPC-A-620 requirements
  • Drive Sustaining Engineering regular reviews and/or early-involvement reviews with cross-functional teams to continuously improve product quality on identified processes, methods and design issues which impact negatively on quality, costs and yields.
