Full Job Description
Job Summary:

The Engineer II is responsible for the implementation of the entire project cycle and provides engineering support for operating assets.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Implements entire project cycle for projects of moderate size and complexity including design, development, material procurement, construction, and project completion.
  • Communicates with company personnel and contractors for project implementation.
  • Prepares technical construction specifications for individual projects.
  • In facility planning role, prepares and presents pipeline simulation results for new and expansion projects.
  • Reviews project plans and details for code compliance, proper company and safety standards, and good engineering practices.
  • Evaluates project bids and makes material selections.
  • Effectively manages budgets, timelines, and problem resolution related to multiple projects.
  • Provides engineering and troubleshooting support for operating assets.
  • Manages and executes small to medium projects.
  • Participates in PSM activities such as PHA/LOPAs, PSSRs, and MOC processes.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency in engineering principles and practices relevant to the energy sector.
  • Experience in project management, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to analyze and solve technical problems related to energy systems and equipment.
  • Experience with engineering software and tools used in the energy industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving project goals and deadlines.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required
  • Previous natural gas industry experience required
  • 3+ years of engineering project management experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with engineering analysis including specialty software

Certifications:
  • None required
