Full Job Description
What You'll Do Day-To-Day

  • Perform routine and non-routine engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks and resolution of field problems.
  • Solve a range of straightforward problems, analyzes solutions and assesses each using standard procedures.
  • Receive assistance and instructions on unusual or more complex features and possible solutions, as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with government, organization and customer engineering standards.
  • Independently evaluate, select and apply standard technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making minor adaptations and modifications.
  • Build knowledge of organization processes and customers.
  • Work on special projects, as directed.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks, as required.
  • Utilize existing and/or acquired technical expertise to find improved technical solutions to support the product life cycle/replacement of current Framatome technologies.
  • Actively participates in solving technical issues identified by project management, business line management or by customer request with the objective to increase business opportunities for Framatome Canada Ltd.
  • Maintain a safety mindset.


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree (4 years) in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
  • Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Exhibits questioning attitude and practices self-checking.
  • Advanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required by the role.


Total Rewards Package

  • Salary: 99,000-110,000 CAD, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
