Full Job Description
What You'll Do Day-To-Day
Perform routine and non-routine engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks and resolution of field problems.
Solve a range of straightforward problems, analyzes solutions and assesses each using standard procedures.
Receive assistance and instructions on unusual or more complex features and possible solutions, as needed.
Ensure compliance with government, organization and customer engineering standards.
Independently evaluate, select and apply standard technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making minor adaptations and modifications.
Build knowledge of organization processes and customers.
Work on special projects, as directed.
Perform other related duties and tasks, as required.
Utilize existing and/or acquired technical expertise to find improved technical solutions to support the product life cycle/replacement of current Framatome technologies.
Actively participates in solving technical issues identified by project management, business line management or by customer request with the objective to increase business opportunities for Framatome Canada Ltd.
Maintain a safety mindset.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree (4 years) in Engineering.
Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
Knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data.
Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.
Exhibits questioning attitude and practices self-checking.
Advanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required by the role.
Total Rewards Package
Salary: 99,000-110,000 CAD, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
