Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Lead (PE) on multi-disciplinary civil engineering projects
  • Engage with hydrology, geotechnical, structural, and electrical teams
  • Design grading, drainage, and stormwater management systems
  • Produce engineered construction plans using Civil 3D with minimal oversight
  • Complete stormwater management and erosion control calculations
  • Assist in permitting and coordination with regulatory agencies
  • Conduct site visits to verify site constraints and design solutions

Full Job Description
As our Civil Engineer II, you'll be joining our growing civil engineering team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team to develop a diverse range of renewable energy projects (PV, BESS, HV, Wind).

Job Responsibilities:

  • The Civil Engineer will work under a Project Lead (PE) on multi-discipline projects. They will interact directly with our internal hydrology, geotechnical, structural, and electrical engineering teams.
  • The role requires technical skills in Civil Engineering design including grading, drainage, erosion and sedimentation control, stormwater management, and SWPPP calculations and reports.
  • They will utilize Civil 3D including alignments, profiles, and grading features to produce engineered construction plans with minimal oversight
  • Complete stormwater and E&S calculations to ensure quality standards are met for Engineers to stamp construction drawings and reports.
  • Ability to engage in multiple projects to complete successful requirement deliveries
  • Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals in order to assist with permitting and coordination with regulatory agencies
  • On occasion with may perform site visits to validate site constraints and civil design solutions.


Position Requirements:

  • Professional Engineer is nice to have
  • Proficiency in design software such as Civil 3D, HydroCAD strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in software such as HEC-RAS, GIS, PV CASE nice to have
  • Experience in renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, or battery storage is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience.


$85,000 - $95,000 a year
