Job Description Summary:

Expand and optimize data ingestion, storage and analytical platform within the company's R&D organization. Design and implement data warehouse solutions using cloud services. Build highly scalable cloud based analytical solutions. Design, build and maintain modern data warehouse schematics, data pipelines and data streams. Design and develop ETL code for integrating large datasets into the cloud platform from various data sources. Automate ETL processes, optimize data delivery, re-designing data warehouse for greater scalability. Design and implement audit processes for data ingestion and access.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any) or related field of study and three (3) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. In lieu of a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any) or related field of study and three (3) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained, employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any) or related field of study and five (5) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must also have demonstrated experience in the following: AWS, Azure or GCP; Applying best practices of schema design and storage solutions utilizing various the following types of database/file systems: Relational (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgresql, Redshift, Synapse, or Snowflake), and Data Lakes; Building processes supporting data transformations, data structures, dependencies and workload management; SQL analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets; SQL and ETL experience working with relational databases; Building and optimizing 'Big data' pipelines, Architectures and Data sets; Manipulating, processing and extracting value from disconnected datasets; Utilizing one of the following: AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, AWS, Azure Cloud Services, Oracle, SQL Server or Postgres; Utilizing one of the following ETL tools: Azure DF, Informatica, Matillion or Pentaho; and Using at least one scripting language (Linux, Perl, Python or Matlab) for prototyping, testing and validation of data for algorithms.

Salary offered for the position is: $183,851.00 - $188,851.00/year.
