Full Job Description
The Engineer, Data Management and Analytics assist with data solutions to support PDS Health data, analysis, and reporting needs. The Engineer applies system analysis techniques and procedures to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Data Warehouse Product Owner and Business System Analyst (BSA) to understand the business needs and collaborate to write user stories.
  • Collaborate with Sr Engineer and Data Architect to develop data flows.
  • Build data pipeline flow to load data from various data sources and apply complex business logic to populate normalized and denormalized data structure.
  • Diagnose and fix data pipelines, data quality, and data accessibility issues.
  • Manage and optimize data warehouse, data lake, and other data infrastructure components.
  • Develop and implement data validation rules, monitor systems, and data lineage tracking to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Implement automation to streamline data workflows and reduce manual effort.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field of study from an accredited college or university. In lieu of degree, 5+ years of professional experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in database development, Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) and Data Warehouse and Dimensional, Cloud Data Platform, building and maintaining data pipelines, agile methodologies, and source control (Bitbucket/Git/Github), and software development lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in programming languages - SQL, Python, Scala
