What You Will DoThe Pratt & Whitney Oklahoma City Heavy Maintenance Center (HMC) Assoc. Production Engineer (PE) will provide manufacturing process engineering work instructions and technical guidance to facilitate disassembly, repair, assembly, and testing of gas-turbine engines at the maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in support of production delivery schedule.
Responsibilities include:
- Read and provide interpretation of technical data as necessary to support production
- Participate in teams reviewing and investigating process breakdowns; perform root cause and corrective action on parts and processes that are not in control
- Provide timely workscope definitions for engine and/or module repair that are comprehensive, clear, concise, cost effective, and meets customer-defined requirements
- Approve standard work control documents used for maintaining engine/module hardware
- Provide disposition to work control document changes using standard work processes and approved technical references for released work control documents
- Provide technical assistance when verification of proper configuration of engine/module hardware is needed
- Utilize robust standard work and desktop procedures for HMC PE processes
- Perform any other related functions or support other MRO production lines as required by management to ensure the success of the enterprise
Qualifications You Must Have- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
- Ability to work 1st shift ([redacted]), as well as extra time as necessary to ensure completion of assigned tasks; may be called in off-hours to answer job-related questions
Qualifications We Prefer- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Operational experience in an MRO engine facility
- Process or manufacturing experience on gas-turbine engines
- Experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP
- Knowledge and experience using precision measuring instruments
- Ability to write concise, easy-to-understand technical work instructions

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
