Job PurposeResponsible for the engineering, design and technical oversight during construction of projects for the gas distribution network.
Key Accountabilities- Design of gas main replacement projects for the distribution network
- Prioritize work and manage multiple projects on time and within budget
- Effectively communicate project information with internal and external stakeholders
- Perform all aspects of role function in line with corporate process safety procedures
- Identify and specify materials to be used in association with gas construction projects
- Identify and acquire the necessary permits, licenses, and land rights associated with assigned projects
- Negotiate and manage commercial contracts with third parties and suppliers
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited college or university required
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam with Engineer in Training (EIT)certification preferred
- 2+ years of engineering or project management experience required
- Valid driver's license required
