Currently, we are seeking a qualified
Computer Engineer to work collaboratively with our fabrication shop in
Anderson, California . This position is not remote and will require living in the commutable Anderson area.
About the Position - Work closely with control and automation engineers to take concepts and turn them into solutions for our production environment requirements
- Writing high performance C++ algorithms
- Interface with industry's latest sensor technologies
- Build user interfaces, improving user experience
- Conceptualize new software and hardware solutions for our production needs
- Maintain and improve our existing software codebase
- Communicate professionally with our end-users
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or comparable degree
- Proficient in C++, .Net, Python, preferably utilizing Visual Studio
- Experience preferred with A.I. (Computer Vision), PyTorch, Django, Microsoft WPF
- Exposure to databases, preferably PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MSSQL
- Solid understanding of college level mathematics (Trigonometry)

The general wage range for this position at Sierra Pacific Industries is from $70,000 and $115,000 per year, and is dependent upon a number of factors, including, but not limited to: relevant work experience, skill, knowledge, and/or education.
