Full Job Description
GLG is seeking an Engagement Manager to own responsibility for leading and growing GLG's Research business, focused on serving our Life Sciences clients. The Engagement Manager will join a global team and will collaborate with GLG Research and Business Development professionals. In this role, you will design research projects tailored to GLG's sophisticated client base and execute these projects to the highest standards. Projects typically involve qualifying and quantifying industry trends through pipeline analyses, commercial assessments, product forecasting, and marketplace investigations. You will be motivated to execute research design rapidly across diverse topics, mentor junior professionals, and cultivate client relationships.

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
  • Lead the execution and delivery of customized market research projects for clients in biopharma, biotech, medical device, and other life science sectors
  • Ensure commercial success through client interactions and project delivery excellence.
  • Train and mentor early-career research professionals.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify client and research opportunities and lead sophisticated client pitches.
  • Develop and implement best practices for project execution.
  • Translating complex client problems into components and actionable research objectives
  • Monitor and manage the health of key client accounts.

You will have the following:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 4-6 years of market research experience, particularly in online surveys including proficiency with online survey platforms (e.g., Decipher, Qualtrics).
  • 2-3 years of experience within client service and/or project management with a preference for a market research or consulting background

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Market research experience within the Life Sciences/Healthcare industry
  • Experience analyzing results and/or communicating quantitative research methodologies and capabilities to both stakeholders and clients
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, survey design, and quantitative research methodologies .
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven, process-oriented, client-focused environment
  • Strong organizational and project management skills

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:

$111,000-$115,000 USD
