This career opportunity is available for a Systems Test Engineer that is a highly motivated problem solver willing to work across multi-disciplinary teams to design, integrate, and test complex systems. The position requires a breadth of knowledge across multiple subject areas with the inclination toward continual learning.
The Systems Test Engineer should have a strong background in Electrical or Systems Engineering, and possess a demonstrated ability in designing, developing, and deploying complex systems using LabVIEW and TestStand test applications, Commercial Instrumentation for testing Military Comms, Navigation, and Electronic Warfare equipment. A strong emphasis on team cohesion, requirements generation, use of electronic measurement equipment , detailed test procedure generation and hardware troubleshooting skills are required.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
Required Skills and Education- Developing System level documentation for test requirements, test design, and operating procedures for acceptance test and environmental stress screening applications
- Architecting, designing, analyzing designs for analog, digital, RF and hybrid modules, board level, systems and subsystems using vendor supplied and custom measurement equipment
- Evaluating the test performance to required specifications and you will be integrating and testing in the selected target test environments for future use by the production organization.
- Evaluating and debugging advanced test solution designs to identify design flaws.
- Developing instrument drivers, utilities, and executables used to support testing and verification activities for system development, production, and sustainment testing activities
- Utilizing C#, Test Stand, LabVIEW based software development environments.
Preferred Skills and Education- Experience in factory production test stands, problem isolation and resolution. Debug skills.
- Experienced in using RF test instrumentation (Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generators, etc.)
- Experience in creating detailed requirements specifications for the development of engineering and production test solutions
