We are seeking a full-time onsite Sr. Process Engineer to work in a Sustainment environment at our Merrimack, New Hampshire facility. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and being able to adapt to multiple program phases / processes for the same part number brings with it an exciting opportunity to influence the successful execution of Sustainment goals and achieving operational excellence.
In this role, the Process Engineer will be a part of our cross functional defect reduction and continuous improvement teams. The Process Engineer will also be responsible for providing process engineering, process development, sustaining engineering, and new process implementation for the Electronic Systems Sustainment factory through hands-on problem solving, data analysis and application of engineering, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to improve assembly processes, product flow and product yields. This position is to support first shift factory operations.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Skills and Education- High school diploma/GED with 6+ years of related experience, or a degree and 2+ years relevant experience
- Current Secret clearance
- Electronic manufacturing software experience such as Oracle, TipQA, Solumina or Paperless MES
- Create and maintain accurate process documentation
- Create and disposition accurate and detailed N/C's
- Ability to differentiate between defects requiring rework and what is acceptable using BAE Media and/or Contracts
- Sound data analysis and reporting skills
- Root cause and corrective action methodology knowledge and experience
- Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with company personnel at all levels, customers, and suppliers
- Ability to work independently and be effective in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Preferred Skills and Education- Experience in a defense or aerospace manufacturing environment
- Experience with Tableau
- Lead training and Defect Reduction meetings with cross functional groups to address findings / actions
- Knowledge of statistical process controls
- Working with operations industrial engineers to optimize the product stream capacity and plan for growth.
