We are seeking a Systems Engineering - Integration and Test (SEIT) Lead to work as part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, debug, and test next generation EW systems. Focused on delivering innovative Electronic Warfare (EW) solutions, individual technical contributions on a related range of Programs will include system development, requirements development, integration & test, and test planning and execution in a field deployment environment.
In this Role you will:
- Leading a medium size team of Systems Engineers on EW related programs
- Managing all system engineering content and work products implementing the product development process
- Manage Cost and Schedule responsibilities for the systems team
- Execute of systems planning and requirements development
- Create and review of systems requirements to include, software, component, subsystem, and operational concepts
- Allocate of requirements to engineering other disciplines
- Creating system test plans, procedures and reports
- Provide oversight to product design, development, integration, and verification
- Develop and maintain external relationship with customers, other contractors and government officials.
- Manage and participate in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings
- Preparing and delivering technical presentations internally and with customers.
- Monitor and report metrics such as System Technical Performance Measures
- Supports proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site.
Required Skills and Education- BS degree in a STEM field in addition to 10+ years of relevant industry or equivalent
- Possess an active Secret security clearance (with ability to possess a Top Secret clearance in the future)
- Leadership skills and experience directing and mentoring engineers on complex programs
- Expert in effectively documenting, communicating, leading and working with a team on designs, results, reports, and presentations.
- Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test)
- Experience developing viable concept solutions, identifying and tracking technical risks, and leading technical teams
- EVMS certification and CAM experienced required
Preferred Skills and Education- Project/Program team member responsible for workflow, which is dynamic in nature.
- Experience with EW, Radar and/or RFCM Systems
- Experience with technical performance measurements and cost account management.
- Model based systems engineering experience with tools such as MagicDraw.
- Familiarity or experience with Agile Systems Engineering
- Active Top Secret (TS) or TS/SCI security clearance
