Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities (Technical):
Key EW program objectives are to improve/enhance air vehicle survivability, through the abilities to detect, deny, deceive, degrade and/or disrupt adversaries Integrated Air Defenses. This position will involve developing new EA capabilities for application in EW systems and performing systems engineering functions such as developing and managing systems level requirements, developing operational systems concepts, performing system architecture trade studies, originating design concepts or performing systems level integration and test for highly complex systems, and preparing and/or delivering basic customer and technical presentations. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Skills and Education- Active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science and 6+ years of work experience.
- Some experience with offensive (stand-off/escort) and/or defensive (self-protection) EA systems.
- Basic EW system design knowledge as it relates to the detection and countering of radar and missile system engagements.
- Understand EA/ESM systems' architectures.
- Experience with systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test).
Preferred Skills and Education- M.S. in either Systems, Software, or Electrical Engineering.
- Functional Management experience (e.g.., performance management, staffing).
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
- Additional skills within the Electronic Attack (EA)/Electronic Warfare Support (ES) portions of Electronic Warfare (EW) to include:
- Understand radar signal processing techniques.
- Understand radar operation and employment.
- Understand digital signal processing concepts including FFT and DRFM.
- Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience.
