BAE Systems is seeking a team contributor in the field of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems to join a growing dynamic group of engineers developing leading edge capabilities in Active and Passive Sensing. You will be a technical member of the Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Systems Engineering Group that is responsible supporting design, development, integration, implementation, test and verification/validation of EW systems across multiple business areas.
As team member, you will be responsible for and support technologies on next-generation military/commercial applications. You will also perform, delivering technical value, in the role of a Systems Engineer, for programs ranging from developing prototypes, full rate production, and sustainment of systems.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site.

Required Skills and Education- Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field, and minimum of 6 years of work experience or equivalent experience
- Active Secret clearance and be eligible to acquire a Top Secret/SCI and additional SAP/SAR clearance in the future
- Experience with systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools
- Ability to prioritize and adjust to dynamic project needs
- Ability to work onsite in a laboratory environment
- Ability to support manufacturing issues and working with quality engineers for path forward
- One or more of the following technical areas:
- Antenna and phased array experience
- RF component knowledge (ex. low noise and power amplifiers)
- Radar experience
- Commercial or Military wireless communication experience
- Receiver architecture experience
- Software programming language knowledge (C++, Python, Matlab)
Preferred Skills and Education- M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related engineering discipline and 4 years of experience or Ph.D. with 2 years of experience
- Hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Familiarty with the Compass Call Program
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering and life cycle processes stages (such as waterfall, spiral, agile/scrum and Vee) and process milestone execution decision gating reviews
- Understanding of the applications of active and passive sensing in the Electronic Warfare (EW) field
