BAE Systems in Wayne, NJ has a great opportunity to work for an innovative company that takes on some of the world's most important challenges. We're looking for a Test Support Electrical Engineer who wants to build a career solving technical issues in our manufacturing test facility. You'll perform troubleshooting on state of the art technology and contribute ideas on process and design improvements. This position is geared toward independent productivity while also contributing to our environment of teamwork. Tasks require the ability to isolate and resolve product related issues in both hardware, software and process related problems, validate test measurement accuracy, characterize the performance of products under test, conduct data analysis and generate documents that report our findings.

BAE Systems seeks an early career candidate for an Electronics Test Engineering Support role. This opportunity is best suited for someone building a career solving complex issues while troubleshooting circuit cards and electronic systems for a variety wireless communications and avionics products. You'll have the opportunity to work on a high performing team where you can utilize your skills to create solutions in our electonics test. We are looking for a candidate committed to excellence, hard-working and driven to perform with strong ethics.

This is a first shift position with a 9/80 work schedule and every other Friday off!

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status and the ability to obtain a DoW Secret Clearance

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Experience troubleshooting RF circuit boards up to and beyond 1GHz utlizing various circuit analysis tools such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers and spectrum analyzers
  • Ability to work as part of a team while also completing independent assignments
  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills
  • Commitment to excellence and ethical performance required to work on defense contracts


Preferred Skills and Education

A very strong candidate would have 1+ years of work experience in an electronics test environment troubleshooting RF circuit card assemblies

Understanding of both digital and RF circuits.

Candidates with active Secret clearance would be preferred.
