Full Job Description
Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC, a full-service law firm of more than 300 attorneys in 14 offices located throughout New York, as well as in Boston, Kansas City, FL and NJ is seeking applications for an experienced lateral attorney (5+ years) for their bustling Environmental/Energy practice.

Locations: Albany, Buffalo, and Syracuse, NY

Qualifications:
  • Licensed to practice in NYS.
  • Authorized to work in the US (the firm does not sponsor employment visas for this position at this time).
  • Qualified candidates should have experience handling matters related to federal and State regulations, SEQRA, permitting, transactional work, environmental remediation and enforcement.
  • Experience counseling clients in energy matters, renewable energy projects, including negotiation of power purchase agreements and credit agreements is desirable.
  • Land use and zoning experience a plus.
  • The successful candidate will be a team-oriented, highly motivated individual with a strong academic record who likes working in a team environment, taking initiative and has excellent research, written and verbal communication skills.

The good faith salary range for this position at the Sr Counsel or Member level is estimated to be $150,000 - $350,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's years of experience, qualifications, skill set, title/level, and office location.

The salary range for this position at the Associate-level is $110,000 - $160,000, which represents the firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of potential compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's years of experience, qualifications, skill set, and office location. Associates may also be eligible for a performance-based annual bonus.
