The Opportunity:

The CIS program supports our intelligence customer deliver IT services to conduct its globally distributed operations. We are driving an exciting technological transformation of customer IT services by leading the design, development, implementation, and operation of cutting-edge solutions. This includes continuous service improvement through the modernization of IT system infrastructure.

CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated Endpoint Systems Specialist to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, the Defense Intelligence Agency. Our Endpoint Systems Specialist to serve as a key member of our global, 24/7 operations team. This role is dedicated to the lifecycle management, optimization, and security of client desktop, mobile, and virtual endpoints. The successful candidate will ensure a seamless, high-performance user experience across physical and virtual desktop infrastructures (VDI) while maintaining strict compliance, encryption, and automated application delivery standards.

The position is contingent upon award of the DIA SITE III CIO Infrastructure Services (CIS) contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, operate, and maintain physical, virtual, and cloud-based client desktop and mobile endpoints. Monitor and manage Forcepoint TTC, Citrix, Azure, AWS, and VMware infrastructure, including administrator and end-user access

  • Manage end-user profiles, including automated updates at login/logoff, and synchronize profile data with Active Directory. Optimize human-centric performance implementations for rapid startup, login, and application streaming

  • Manage and maintain desktop and application packaging of engineered configurations for remote distribution to thick, thin, virtual, and mobile devices. Support major system center technologies like Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Intune

  • Configure hardware BIOS, RAM, device drivers, and full disk encryption using NIST-, FIPS-, and NSA-approved algorithms. Monitor and manage all hardware and software licenses, distribution, and accounting by user, device, or group

  • Provide continuous Tier 2 support (incident analysis, break/fix, hands-on touch labor). Apply working knowledge of network concepts, firewalls, and VPN technologies to optimize secure remote access. Coordinate with Tier 3 and Engineering for advanced troubleshooting

  • Test and automate patch management solutions and deploy software using environment-specific tooling. Execute continuous patch management across all networks and security domains

  • Use Lab facilities to develop test scripts, conduct Beta/Acceptance testing, and manage the transfer of engineered solutions through Blue/Green fielding.

  • Analyze system performance, capacity, and service-level metrics to optimize infrastructure utilization and preemptively address potential incidents.

  • Work with technical writers to develop SOPs and documentation. Aid in the creation of required reporting, POA&Ms, and data tracking in strict accordance with contract deliverables

  •  Participate in Continual Service Improvement (CSI) and innovation activities, researching new technologies and articulating benefits to stakeholders

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Must hold a current Top Secret SCI clearance with ability to obtain poly prior to start

  • DOD 8140 Certification applicable to role (minimum Security+)

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (requires 40+ hours training) OR 7 years of equivalent endpoint administration experience

  • Must hold ONE of the following: Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Citrix Certified Associate-Virtualization (CCA-V), Azure Fundamentals (or OEM equivalent), OR VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP-DCV Design) combined with Azure Administrator

  • An AA and 10+ years of experience, BS/BA and 8+ years of experience, MS/MA and 6+ years of experience, or PhD and 4+ years of experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience integrating, operating, and maintaining IT hardware and software solutions

Desired:

  • Degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering

  • Ivanti User Workspace Administrator

  • Deep familiarity with Intelligence Community Information Technology Enterprise (IC ITE) services and classified operating environments

  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification
