Full Job Description
GTSC and its Datawiz business unit seeks an Endpoint Service Desk Engineering Lead.

Clearance Requirement
  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance


Location: This is a local remote position in the metropolitan Washington DC area. There will be occasion when you are asked to perform some work onsite or to meet with other team members.

Mission

This is not a Tier 1 help desk role. The position is focused on engineering, automation, and enterprise endpoint management, including imaging, patching, configuration control, and remediation across Windows and macOS environments.

The selected candidate will serve as a primary engineering lead supporting secure endpoint operations, lifecycle management, and compliance-driven IT services.

Education: Expertise matters. There is no degree requirement.

Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of IT, endpoint, or cybersecurity experience
  • Minimum 6 years performing engineering functions


Responsibilities
  • Lead enterprise endpoint engineering across:
    • Windows and macOS device environments
  • Own full device lifecycle:
    • Imaging, provisioning, patching, configuration, remediation
  • Implement and maintain endpoint tool stack, including:
    • Intune, Autopilot, JAMF, Ivanti, KACE
  • Develop and execute:
    • Automated deployment and configuration controls
    • Patch validation and rollback procedures
  • Support secure baseline enforcement and compliance tracking
  • Maintain engineering documentation, including:
    • Runbooks
    • SOPs
    • remediation workflows
  • Support escalation and resolution of complex engineering issues
  • Collaborate with DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and program management teams
