Role Overview:This role focuses on managing monthly operating system and third-party application patch cycles across Windows, macOS, and iOS endpoints within an enterprise environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating, deploying, and reporting on patches, ensuring compliance with security standards and audit frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage monthly OS and third-party application patch cycles across Windows, macOS, and iOS endpoints.
- Validate patches in test/lab environments before rollout, including CVE-based prioritization.
- Execute pilot and production deployments during change windows; manage emergency patching processes.
- Generate audit-ready patch compliance reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to align patching standards with risk thresholds.
- Leverage scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to automate patch validation, deployment monitoring, and compliance reporting.
Required Skills:- Proficiency with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM/Intune) and Jamf Pro.
- Knowledge of vulnerability management practices and CVE scoring models.
- Strong problem-solving and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with audit/compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, NIST).
- Ability to use scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python for automation.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3+ years' experience in endpoint patch management in enterprise environments.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Jamf) are preferred.
