Full Job Description
Summary:

The Manager, Endpoint Management is responsible for directing and overseeing a specialized team charged with ensuring the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of endpoint devices-including laptops, desktops, and smartphones-throughout the Tollway Authority's enterprise. This leadership role is vital in supporting the organization's technology infrastructure, which underpins critical transportation operations and administrative functions. Key responsibilities include the administration of enterprise-level tools such as Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune, as well as strategic oversight of patch management, vulnerability remediation, operating system deployment, and application distribution. This position reports to the Assistant Director of IT.

Starting Pay Rate: $111,525/annually - $146,744/annually - $190,767/annually

Retention Bonus: $1500

Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the United States immediately. This position is not available for H1-B visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the Endpoint Management team, providing leadership, mentoring, and guidance for engineers and administrators.
  • Develop and implement strategies for managing endpoints across the organization, ensuring optimal functionality, security, and compliance.
  • Utilize and optimize tools such as SCCM and Intune for effective endpoint management
  • Lead patch management initiatives to ensure devices are up-to-date and secure.
  • Oversee OS deployment and imaging processes, ensuring efficient rollout of devices and updates.
  • Drive software deployment projects to support business needs and maintain consistency across environments.
  • Drive the execution of IT Service Delivery strategies that deliver measurable value and operational excellence through continuous improvement.
  • Proactively monitor and maintain endpoint devices, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring consistent performance.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to support broader organizational goals.
  • Create and manage budgets, resources, and project plans related to endpoint management.
Qualifications:

M inimum:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 7-10 years of managerial experience, specifically leading technical teams of engineers and administrators.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct management experience leading endpoint management or related teams, with a total of 10+ years of IT experience.
  • Proven expertise in managing teams that support endpoint management tools like SCCM and Intune.
  • Strong knowledge of patch management, OS deployment, and software deployment practices.
  • Proven experience in IT Service Delivery, ensuring consistent and value-driven IT services are aligned with business objectives and SLAs.
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with public sector or infrastructure focused environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions in complex situations.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience collaborating across teams and departments.
  • Solid understanding of IT security protocols and compliance standards.
