Overview

Overview 

We have an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer.  This position will be supporting the Endpoint Lead Engineer and team with oversight and technical expertise for a large Department of the Navy (DoN) enterprise network system.  Their focus will be on providing the Navy customer with the best possible Enterprise Workstations and Peripheral experience.

Responsibilities

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to: 

  • Develop Hardware and Software requirements for enterprise solutions. 
  • Provide insight and technical expertise to resolve technical issues. 
  • Contribute to development of information assurance policies. 
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) level support to engineering projects and participate in problem resolution efforts for lifecycle systems management projects. 
  • Operate within strict time constraints in a dynamic, high-level government environment. 
  • Assist other engineers and analysts with the evaluation and preparation of recommendations for process and project improvements, system optimization, development, and/or acquisition efforts. 
  • Coordinate with Program Managers and Government Officials on project status, documentation and delivery. 
  • Be responsible for independent data collection, analysis, and reporting. 
  • Have frequent interaction with senior managers and Navy Leadership; and as such, requires the utmost of discretion and tact.

The successful candidate should have the following qualifications: 

  • Should have experience with Government Cloud solutions and understand Security Impact Levels. 
  • Must have experience with the Microsoft Azure cloud and preferably Azure Gov Cloud. 
  • Must have Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) experience along with associated tools and services. 
  • Must have experience with M365 implementation and maintenance. 
  • Should have extensive experience with End User hardware and software including mobility and peripherals. 
  • Must have Windows 10 / 11 OS training/certification or comparable certification to obtain an administrative account on client network within 45 days of hire. 
  • Possess a current Security Certification that meets the DoD 8570 requirements IAT Level II. 
  • Must have an active US Government SECRET security clearance. 
  • Education requirements:  
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 (or more) years of related experience or 
  • High School Diploma and 6 (or more) years related experience. 
Pay Range

$130,000 to $140,000 Annual Salary
