Job SummaryThe School of Business at Wilberforce University seeks a distinguished scholar for the inaugural William Lee endowed professor position. This position will under the schools growing marketing and management portfolios by producing leading edge scholarships and through forging partnerships across the Miami Valley region of Ohio. The position includes a competitive salary and annual research support from the University to support the professors' scholarly activities.
- Associate or full professor staring fall 2024.
- 9 ½ month appointment with summer research support.
- Teaching load of 3 courses per semester.
Salary: $85,000 - $165, 000
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Maintain a stellar research agenda with articles and reviews in top-tier entrepreneurship and management journals.
- Develop a forward-looking research portfolio that advance management or marketing
- Pursue opportunities for external grants, foundation funding, or corporate gifts to enhance the marketing and management ecosystem of the William Lee Institute of Business and Finance.
Required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesTEACHING AND MENTORING:
Teach course in \graduate Project Management program (in online mode). Teach undergraduate courses in face-to-face mode.
SERVICE AND OUTREACH:
Act as an ambassador for the University at academic conferences, policy forums, and corporate entrepreneurship events.
Minimum Qualifications - Ph.D. in Business, Marketing, and/or Management.
