Full Job Description
As an Employee Relations Partner, you will play a vital role in addressing workplace issues, fostering employee engagement, and promoting a positive company culture. This role is on-site, based in El Paso, TX.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct investigations into employee and/or supervisor complaints or concerns regarding conduct, performance, or policy violations and recommend course of action based on findings.
  • Take a proactive strategic approach to employee relations by identifying employee relations trends, recommending solutions that address root cause, and partnering with leadership on execution.
  • Consult and coach managers and employees in resolving employee relations issues effectively and in compliance with company policies, employment law and regulations.
  • Partner with HRBPs in development and execution of employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive employee culture.
  • Conduct training for employees and managers on employee relations topics to promote a positive work environment, diversity and inclusion, and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Consult with legal counsel and senior leadership as necessary to address complex or high-risk employee relations matters.
  • Play key role in the execution of compliance program activities, including fostering employee awareness and usage.
  • Stay updated on employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to employee relations, making recommendations for policy updates or changes as necessary.
  • Occasional travel to other locations to conduct investigations or training.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in employee relations, human resources, or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state laws employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling complex employee relations issues, including investigations, employee concerns/complaints, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to build trust and credibility at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to mediate and resolve conflicts in a fair and impartial way.
  • Ability to coach, consult, and work collaboratively at various level of the organization.
  • Ability to empathize with employees and demonstrate emotional intelligence in interactions.
  • Ability to work independently, handle confidential information with discretion and manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective analytical skills and problem solving skills.
  • Exercise independent judgement and discretion, and maintenance of confidentiality.
