Full Job Description
Under limited supervision, administers the Employee Relations function and serves in a consultative capacity to management, typically at the Assistant Vice President level and below, on a variety of employee relations matters. Provides guidance and expertise on workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, employment laws and regulations, HR policies, and other employee relations matters while supporting organizational compliance and mitigating risk.

What You Will Do
  • Administer the Employee Relations function under limited supervision and serve as a consultative partner to management, typically at the Assistant Vice President level and below, on employee relations matters.
  • Partner with and advise management on employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, performance and conduct concerns, involuntary terminations, and responses to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charges.
  • Provide coaching, consultation, and conflict-resolution support to managers and employees.
  • Identify and track employee relations trends and recommend opportunities for improvement to Human Resources and department management.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on federal, state, and municipal employment laws and regulations, supporting organizational compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Partner with the Senior HR Business Partner and HR senior leadership to develop, interpret, and support the consistent application of company policies and procedures.
  • Provide recommendations regarding HR policies and procedures to HR senior leadership and HR functional teams.
  • Reinforce HR and business initiatives within assigned client groups as defined by the Senior HR Business Partner or business unit management.
  • Support enterprise-wide employee engagement initiatives in partnership with the Senior HR Business Partner and HR Director, as needed.


What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or, in lieu of a degree, four additional years of Employee Relations work experience.
  • Five or more years of Employee Relations experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current federal, state, and municipal employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience advising managers and employees on employee relations matters, including workplace investigations and disciplinary actions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.


What Will Set You Apart
  • HR Generalist experience in a service-related industry.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
  • Experience managing complex employee relations cases involving investigations, conflict resolution, involuntary terminations, and EEOC matters.
  • Experience interpreting and applying HR policies and employment regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

Base Salary Range
$79,400.00 - $112,175.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
