DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: The Urology NP/PA Fellowship Program is a one-year program that prepares fellows to become highly skilled in the multidisciplinary, collaborative and evidence-based management of complex and challenging patients in Urology. The Fellowships innovative curriculum covers the entire spectrum of the specialty area. Fellows will have exposure to the care of Urology patients with rotations that will allow them to cultivate specialized and thorough knowledge.Training objectives include exposure to patients in outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings, as well as experience with perioperative care. Rotation sites include all Emory hospitals. The Fellowship will include both clinical and didactic components with the goal of enabling fellows to gain the confidence and ability necessary to practice in a urology setting of their choice.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of an accredited PA or NP Master's program prior to the start of the Fellowship program. National board certification as a PA or NP. Eligible for licensure as a PA or NP in Georgia. Eligible for DEA license. BLS, and Healthcare Provider certifications required. ACLS may be required in some areas/
