Full Job Description
Job Summary:

Western Midstream is seeking a motivated Emissions Technician to support environmental compliance in our DJ Basin assets. This role will focus on maintaining air quality and emissions regulations. Responsibilities include Portable Analyzer testing, building test reports, scheduling and organizing third party testing, catalyst inspections, tuning units and helping with maintenance activities. Additional duties will also be assigned. This full-time position is based in Longmont, CO.

Qualifications:
  • Two years of experience preferred
  • Computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook are required
  • Experience in SAP is preferred
  • Good time management, communication, and people skills
  • Experience in midstream oil & gas operations
  • Knowledge in maintenance and operation of gas engines, compressors and heaters.


Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to and enforce all applicable company, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations
  • Organize and maintain equipment records with preventative and predictive maintenance programs
  • Respond to call outs as needed for maintenance and emergency situations.
  • Accountable for personal safety, the safety of co-workers and promoting a safe work environment
  • Organize and perform Portable Analyzer testing
  • Fill out testing reports
  • Organize and schedule testing with a third party
  • Utilize SAP for work order management
  • Catalyst Inspections
  • Participate in maintenance tasks (PM's and Overhauls)
  • Tune Caterpillar, Waukesha, Clark and Superior engines as well as Heaters to achieve proper emissions levels.
  • Work around heavy equipment and in variable environmental conditions
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices


Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.


Certifications/Licenses:
  • Valid US driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required.


Travel Requirements:
  • The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%.


Work Schedule
  • This position is on a 4-10 schedule and may be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Candidate must live within 60 miles of Longmont, CO


*The pay range for this position in Colorado is $38.00 - $59.75; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, this position is eligible to participate in the Western Midstream Cash Bonus Program, plus offers a competitive benefits package that emphasizes pay-for-performance compensation, work/life balance, premium health benefits, and a top-tier savings plan.
