Full Job Description
Schedule: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM Week A: Wed-Sat; Week B: Thu-Sat (2nd and 3rd shift as needed)

Our Emergency team is the perfect place for technicians who thrive in a fast-paced environment, can shift gears quickly and handle the stress of critical situations with ease. Every day is different and there's never the same case twice!

What you'll do:
  • Escalates issues to Clinical Manager
  • Functions as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s)
  • Collaborates with other departments regarding patient and client needs
  • Prioritizes and organizes workflows for shift
  • Directly manages Clinical Services team members while on shift which includes but is not limited to:
  • Manages early call-ins, early departures, call-offs, sharing of resources, breaks and lunches for team members
  • Assigns team member responsibilities per shift
  • Addresses process or employee issues during their shift
  • Communicates schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely
  • Serves as first level responder to client concerns and drug escalations
  • Trains and mentors new team members
  • Provides input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations
  • Participates in on-call responsibilities
  • Participates in management or administrative meeting(s) routinely


Who you are:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Prior veterinary experience required, previous emergency experience desired
  • Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
  • Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written

Compensation:Staring salary for this position has a hiring range of $33 to $44.50/hour based on skills and experience.

We support our caregivers with lucrative shift differentials:

-Hours worked between 8pm and 11:59pm = base pay + $2/hour

-Hours worked between 12am to 7:59am = base pay + $3/hour

-Hours worked on Weekends (day or night) = base pay +$1/hour + any applicable differential
