Bachelors of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution
Minimum two years of experience in ER/Critical Care Nursing
Current Registered Nurse Licensure in Mississippi
Successful completion of a critical care course
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
PALS within 6 months of hire
TNCC within one year of hire
Responsibilities
Direct and manage patient care activities in the Emergency Department
Oversee staff management and operational functions
Consult with staff and physicians on nursing issues
Interpret hospital policies to meet patient needs
Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer to address nursing challenges

Requirements:
Responsible for direction of patient care activities in the Emergency Department. Manages staff in the Emergency Department, provides management of operational and nursing activities.
Consults with staff, physicians, and the Chief Nursing Officer on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met
Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing with two (2) years or more experience in all aspects of ER/Critical Care Nursing.
Current Registration Nurse Licensure in the state of Mississippi
