Responsibilities

  • Escalate issues to the Clinical Manager as needed.
  • Serve as an active member of the Clinical Services team during shifts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address patient and client needs.
  • Organize and prioritize workflows for each shift effectively.
  • Directly manage Clinical Services team members, handling scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Address employee and process issues as they arise during shifts.
  • Act as a primary responder to client concerns and medication escalations.

We are looking for: Emergency and Specialty Veterinary Clinical Supervisor

Never a dull moment in the ER or within our Specialty Departments! Are you someone who likes to be constantly moving from one thing to another? Do you like the diversity that Specialty Medicine provides? Our team is the perfect place for technicians who thrive in a fast-paced environment, can shift gears quickly and handle the stress of critical situations with ease. Every day is different and there's never the same case twice!

What you'll do:

  • Escalates issues to Clinical Manager


  • Functions as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s)


  • Collaborates with other departments regarding patient and client needs


  • Prioritizes and organizes workflows for shift


  • Directly manages Clinical Services team members while on shift which includes but is not limited to:


  • Manages early call-ins, early departures, call-offs, sharing of resources, breaks and lunches for team members


  • Assigns team member responsibilities per shift


  • Addresses process or employee issues during their shift


  • Communicates schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely


  • Serves as first level responder to client concerns and drug escalations


  • Trains and mentors new team members


  • Provides input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations


  • Participates in on-call responsibilities


  • Participates in management or administrative meeting(s) routinely


Who you are:
