Overview:Job Title: Embeded Engineer (Wifi)Location- Customer site: San Jose, California
In summary, we are seeking an engineer who is capable of jointly debugging customer issues and effectively communicating technical findings based on those activities.
The detailed requirements are as follows:
1. Linux System Expertise- General understanding of Linux systems
- Experience in peripheral function analysis and debugging
- Solid understanding and practical use of systemd
- Ability to write shell scripts for testing and debugging purposes
2. Modem Knowledge- General understanding of modem concepts and terminology
- Ability to communicate effectively with specialized modem engineers
- Data service experience, including:
- Understanding of routing fundamentals
- Experience with tcpdump
- Overall functional understanding of modem behavior
3. Wi-Fi 2.4GHz / 5GHz Development & Debugging- Technical knowledge to support and guide the customer's Wi-Fi development activities
- Experience with hostapd and WPA supplicant
- Understanding of Wi-Fi security mechanisms
- Capability to perform basic Wi-Fi functionality testing and debugging
