Work is onsite in Dallas, TX area; applicants must be in the area or willing to relocate to it.
- You will gain exposure to systems engineering principles and understand how software fits into the bigger picture of product development.
- Work in a hands-on engineering environment where you can turn classroom knowledge into real solutions.
- Take ownership of your own project tasks or subprojects, with mentorship from experienced engineers.
- Participate in key software lifecycle activities, including code reviews, documentation, testing, and validation.
- Follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products.
What You Will Learn- How to work effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional engineering teams.
- How to identify and drive continuous improvement in both products and processes.
- How to develop and maintain large-scale, complex software solutions in an agile environment.
Qualifications You Must Have - Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
- Familiarity in developing, testing, and integrating software applications written in C++ or closely related software languages.
- Familiarity with computer scripting languages such as Python.
Qualifications We Prefer- A self-starter who enjoys hands-on problem solving and has a passion for C++ and Python development.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Linux, Scrum/Agile, DevSecOps, Git/GitLab.
- Familiarity working with physical hardware.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
