Full Job Description
As an Electronics Service Supervisor, a typical day might include the following:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, specialists, and subordinate supervisors, relying on technical expertise from technicians within the work area.
  • Responsible for daily operations and performance indicators of the electronics service team to meet performance, quality, and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer support teams to optimize workflow and communication to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
  • Monitor employee performance, regularly provide employee feedback, empower, mentor and coach employees, write and deliver performance reviews, and assist employees in setting goals.
  • Responsible for assessing employee training needs and providing/overseeing training.
  • Actively and effectively address personnel issues and settle differences equitably and productively.
  • Create, update and ensure control of department work instructions and reports.
  • Responsible for driving employee engagement in process improvements and positively and accurately communicating change.
  • Provide input into staffing and capital needs through the collection and reporting of data.
  • Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in electronic engineering technology or equivalent
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement tools (WCM, Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Strong training and presentation abilities
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and internal auditing


Physical Requirements
  • Lift/push/pull up to 20 lbs. frequently, 35 lbs. occasionally
  • Vision correctable to 20/30; color differentiation
  • Use of keyboard and standard office equipment
  • Ability to reach, bend, and twist

Pay Range Data - $84,200 - $124,500 per year

We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills. We are looking to fill this position at the Electronics Service Supervisor level, and we welcome applicants with a range of experience. Depending on your background, we may consider you for a different level, with compensation aligned accordingly.
