Job Description
The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking an entry level Electronics Engineer to develop Automated Test Equipment. Location: This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility at one of the Coolest places to work:
Cape Canaveral FL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.
What does this role look like?
You will support FBM LE refresh and design update projects for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). Use your strong electrical engineering skills to work with all project partners and define the future for FBM!
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multifunction integrated test equipment in support of the US Navy's Ballistic Missile Flight Test Program.
• Create/update project/process documentation that align to project requirements.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Work the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of our automated test systems, including data review, error analysis, integration and troubleshooting.
• Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems.
• Interface with suppliers, customer and internal design teams to provide cost effective and low risk solutions.
• Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers.
• Support, as required, Failure Review Board activities through closure.
• Ability to travel and work at alternate work sites as required, approximately 25%. To be effective in this role, you will need:
• Knowledge in the design and test of electrical hardware
• While no clearance is needed to start this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
Electrical hardware development knowledge
Ability to troubleshoot using test equipment such as O-Scopes and DMMs.
Desired skills
Experience with interconnect designs
• Experience reading schematic diagrams and other technical documentation
• Experience troubleshooting
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Experience working in team environments and using agile methodologies.
• Must be able to work with direction and drive items to closure

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $57,500 - $101,430. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $66,200 - $114,655. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
