System Design and Development:
  • Perform trade studies, modeling and simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component and system performance and to optimize design around established requirements
  • Design and develop electronic warfare systems, including jammers, radar systems, situational awareness and communication systems
  • Develop hardware and software architectures to integrate systems and components into higher level systems and platforms
  • Assess EW specific risks and develop a mitigation plan

Signal Processing:
  • Analyze and process RF data to assess threat and communication information in the electromagnetic spectrum
  • Develop algorithms for signal detection, classification, and countermeasure deployment
  • Develop data analysis and presentation methods and tools to provide actionable information to the user

Testing and Validation:
  • Develop test plans, procedures, and reports for system verification and validation including environment and propagation effects.
  • Conduct laboratory and field testing of EW systems to ensure performance and reliability

Spectrum Management:
  • Analyze and manage electromagnetic spectrum usage to optimize system performance in congested and/or contested environments
  • Ensure compliance with spectrum regulations and policies

Threat Analysis:
  • Assess emerging threats in electronic warfare, radar systems, communication systems, and unmanned platforms
  • Develop countermeasure strategies to mitigate threats

Collaboration and Integration:
  • Collaborate with government agencies and military stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions
  • Work closely with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to integrate EW systems into larger platforms (e.g., aircraft, ships, ground vehicles)

Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare technical documentation, including system specifications, design reports, and user manuals
  • Present findings and recommendations to internal teams and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field

Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in electronic warfare, RF systems, or related fields
  • Experience with EW system design, signal processing, or electromagnetic spectrum analysis

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in modeling tools for RF engineering and signal processing (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW or similar)
  • Familiar with laboratory tools including oscilloscope, signal and spectrum analyzer, SDR and RF Analyzer SW
  • Knowledge of radar systems, communication systems, directed energy and electronic warfare modules
  • Familiarity with high level software programming languages for algorithm development
