Onsite Job: Electronic Systems Design & Analysis Engineer Level 3
Work Location: Everett, WA
Shift: First Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Travel: Minimal (Up to 10%)
Security Clearance: No Clearance Required
Job Description:
• Develop general configuration concepts for associated vehicle systems.
• Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware, and software designs and interface specifications.
• Support the design of propulsion subsystems and components.
• Utilize testing, analysis, modeling, and simulation tools to estimate and evaluate system performance.
• Support the development of concepts for future propulsion systems.
• Apply requirements for propulsion systems, auxiliary power systems, vehicle fuel systems, and tank systems.
• Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to support development, integration, and certification of complex systems.
• Test and validate system designs to ensure operational and functional requirements are met.
• Provide engineering support for fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on system development activities.
Must Haves:
• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• ABET-accredited degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience analyzing system requirements and translating them into hardware and software designs.
• Experience supporting propulsion systems or related vehicle systems.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Familiarity with testing, analysis, modeling, and simulation tools.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with engineering processes and development methodologies.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and model-based development tools.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Knowledge of FAA/EASA certification requirements.
• Experience with ARP4754 Product Development.
• Experience with ARP4761 Safety Assessment.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Education/Experience:
Requires a Bachelor's Degree (ABET Preferred) in Engineering or a related technical field with 2+ years of engineering experience. Candidates with experience in MBSE, propulsion systems, FAA/EASA certification, ARP4754, ARP4761, and Agile methodologies are highly preferred.
