JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:- Investigate and analyze electronic hardware failures.
- Perform product validation and verification testing.
- Execute and review test plans and test reports.
- Track and manage production part returns.
- Document test results, findings, and technical reports.
- Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and power supplies.
- Support ECM/ECU product development and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global engineering teams.
- Maintain lab equipment, test setups, and documentation.
- Ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Conduct electronic hardware failure analysis.
- Perform product validation and testing.
- Review and execute test plans.
- Analyze production part returns.
- Document test results and findings.
- Use electronic test equipment and lab tools.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Support product development and quality improvement.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:- Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5-7 years in this capacity is a must
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:- Electronic hardware failure analysis & troubleshooting.
- Electronic product validation and testing.
- Test plan review and execution.
- Test report writing and documentation.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, and power supplies.
- Electronics product development testing.
- Knowledge of ECM/ECU systems (preferred).
DESIRED SKILLS:- ECM/ECU experience.
- SEAFOAM experience.
- WebPD experience.
- Knowledge of EC-1 and EC-42 standards.
The pay range for this role is:
80,000 - 105,000 USD per year (Mossville AC)
