Electronic Design & Analysis Engineer - Mid-Level or Experienced

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring for a Mid-Level or Experienced Electronic Design & Analysis Engineer (Level 3 or 4) in El Segundo, CA.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Validates designs through various methods of review, testing and analysis
  • Conducts Root Cause and Corrective Action to investigate failures and go-forward plans
  • Identifies, tracks and statuses technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements
  • Develops, deploys and supports new processes and process improvement to enable efficient performance of engineering tasks to reduce cycle time and drive product improvements
  • Apply knowledge of analog circuit design principles (e.g., frequency, voltage, thermal, bandwidth, mismatch) to simulate circuit boards
  • Knowledge of worst case circuit characteristics (e.g., electrical and electronic component tolerances, frequency, voltage, aging, drift) analysis principles. Knowledge of circuit stress analysis including electrical and electronic components, circuit design and schematics, and circuit loads (e.g., power, current, thermal and voltage)
  • Demonstrates an interest in personal learning and development. Seeks feedback from multiple sources about how to improve and develop; modifies behavior based on feedback or self-analysis of past mistakes. Takes steps to develop and maintain the knowledge, skill, and ability to perform
  • Identifying and correcting conditions and behaviors that affect employee, public, and customer safety; upholding safety standards; demonstrating proactive safety culture leadership


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
  • Hands-on familiarity with common electronic test equipment and test cases for power and digital systems


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Knowledge of electronics concepts (control, analog, digital, power supply behavior) sufficient to collaborate effectively with electrical engineers and interpret test results
  • Knowledge and experience in control, analog, digital, or power supply circuit design
  • Proven troubleshooting experience in lab environments such as diagnosing software, instrument, and integration issues during test execution
  • Experience with electronics laboratory instrumentation to troubleshoot circuit design and hardware manufacturing errors
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Skill and ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
  • Experience within aerospace or related industry or with space electronics

Mid-Level (Level 3) Summary pay range: $119,850 - $162,150

Experienced (Level 4) Summary pay range: $146,200 - $197,800
