TriVector Services, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates to fill our Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer position.

Description/Duties:

The Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer will provide systems level support in the area of EMC/EMI to support the NASA Spaceflight Programs. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • EMC analysis, test planning, and circuit test and analysis.
  • Evaluate test and analysis data and waivers in the areas of electromagnetic interference (EMI), electrostatic discharge, corona, grounding, isolation, bonding, and wiring.
  • Progress reports and schedules will be prepared to support design reviews and team meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
  • A Star ID is required to access Marshall Space Flight Center.
  • Typically, educational requirements are the equivalent of a Ph.D., with a minimum 14 years of experience, Masters with at least 18 years of experience, or BS with at least 20 years of experience.
  • Candidate must have experience in EMC analysis, EMC test planning and procedures, and critical circuit test and analysis as related to space or flight hardware and systems.
  • Must have experience in evaluating test and analysis data and waivers in the areas of electromagnetic interference (EMI), electrostatic discharge, corona, grounding, isolation, bonding, and wiring.
  • Must be proficient with PC and appropriate software programs.
  • Requires domestic travel in the domestic USA (

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD-461 and -462 is a plus.
  • Experience with ISS hardware and payloads is a plus.
