Full Job Description
The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Electrician Leader (WL-2805-11) to work at the 50th Civil Engineer Squadron, Plant Operations, Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO. The primary purpose of this position is to exercise technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in accomplishing trades and labor work in to install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain various electrical systems, controls, and equipment.

Salary starts at $40.63- 47.40 an Hour (Based on Experience)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

- Knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures.

- Knowledge of a wide range of principles, processes, and techniques of trade(s) and/or craft(s) supervised and personnel management policies, practices, and procedures, including sexual harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity/ Equal Employment Treatment.

- Knowledge of the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, equipment, and precision measuring and /or test equipment common to trades supervised.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, schematics, technical manuals and technical specifications.

- Ability to plan and organize work assignments to include determining resources required to accomplish mission.

- Obtain & maintain a Security clearance

- This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.
