Full Job Description
Electrician

Advertised Posting Location: 318 Orenda Rd., Brampton ON L6T 1G1

Shift: Day

Employment Type: Temporary Full Time (NIns)

Compensation: $40.50

  1. Report food safety and quality issues to personnel with authority to initiate action
  2. Ensure that all work is performed according to pertinent GMP, HACCP, SQF, CFIA and all established regulations
  3. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
  4. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
  5. Install, examine, replace or repair electricial wiring, receptacle, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electricial components
  6. Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
  7. Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors
  8. Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
  9. Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
  10. Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment programs and keep maintenance records
  11. May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
  12. Provide insight and suggestions for improvement to equipment and processes
  13. Attend all job training, as needed
