John Owens Services is looking for an experienced Residential Service Electrician who can do great electrical work, communicate with homeowners, and confidently sell the right solutions.This is not a position for someone who only wants to "fix and leave." We are looking for a service electrician who can diagnose, educate, present options, and help customers move forward with confidence.

What You'll Be Doing
- Running residential electrical service calls
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues
- Performing repairs, installations, upgrades, panel work, lighting, outlets, switches, energy efficiency, electrification, battery back ups and more
- Presenting clear options and estimates to homeowners
- Using our pricing guide to make customer presentations simple and professional
- Selling electrical repairs, upgrades, and safety improvements
- Providing excellent customer service from start to finish
- Collecting payment at the time of service
- Maintaining a clean, professional work area
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of residential electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability and willingness to sell
- Confidence presenting options to customers
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safe work practices
