Electrician Field Manager - Electrical Services

We are looking for a Field Manager to lead our electrical services team and help us continue providing exceptional electrical solutions and a consistent 5-star customer experience throughout Guilford County, NC.

The Field Manager will oversee a team of electricians providing primarily residential electrical services, along with some commercial electrical work. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coaching electricians, maintaining high standards of workmanship, improving team performance, and still being involved in the field through customer consultations and electrical sales.

The successful candidate will hold a valid North Carolina electrical license, have a minimum of 6 years of relevant electrical experience, and have a passion for developing people while delivering outstanding service to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to a team of electricians performing residential and commercial electrical work.
  • Ensure all electrical work is completed safely, professionally, and in compliance with applicable North Carolina electrical codes and industry standards.
  • Maintain quality control by inspecting completed work, addressing deficiencies, and coaching technicians toward continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and on-going/continuous training programs.
  • Hold electricians accountable for workmanship, professionalism, productivity, customer satisfaction, and sales performance.
  • Coach and develop electricians to improve technical skills, communication, customer service, and sales abilities.
  • Lead by example by performing electrical sales and customer consultations in the field approximately 2-3 days per week.
  • Help technicians identify customer needs and recommend appropriate electrical solutions while maintaining a customer-first approach.
  • Monitor team performance, key metrics, and operational results while helping drive revenue growth.
  • Assist with material purchasing, inventory management, fleet management, vendor coordination, and ensuring technicians have the resources needed to complete jobs efficiently.
  • Onboard and train new Service Professionals.
  • Support scheduling, workflow improvements, and operational processes that increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a strong culture of safety, accountability, professionalism, and pride in workmanship.
  • Identify opportunities to improve technician performance, operational processes, and profitability.
  • Ensure every customer receives a consistent 5-star service experience.


Required Qualifications
  • Valid North Carolina electrical license with a clean driving record is required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant electrical experience required.
  • Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or managing electricians preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, troubleshooting, installation, repair, and electrical code requirements.
  • Experience in a residential electrical service environment strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable performing electrical sales and presenting solutions directly to customers.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions independently.

Compensation

Starting compensation: $80,000+ per year

Compensation will be based on experience, licensing, leadership ability, and demonstrated results. Compensation includes commission on sold work plus a percentage of gross revenues.
