JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:- Validate and verify Microgrid Power Control Systems (MPCS) and electrical control systems.
- Develop and execute system-level test plans, validation procedures, and performance analyses.
- Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and software validation testing.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) activities for power and control systems.
- Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Utilize tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, CANalyzer, and CANape for testing and analysis.
- Ensure system functionality, reliability, and compliance with engineering requirements.
- Document test results, findings, and recommendations for continuous product improvement.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Perform system validation, verification, and testing of MPCS and control systems.
- Develop, execute, and document test plans, procedures, and test results.
- Support Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and software validation activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, hardware, and software issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including controls, software, and electrical engineering.
- Analyze test data and provide recommendations for product improvements.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and product development efforts.
- Utilize MATLAB/Simulink, CANalyzer, and CANape tools for testing and analysis.
- Ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance with engineering requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, validation documentation, and engineering updates.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in controls, validation, or systems engineering.
- Experience with system testing, troubleshooting, and product development.
- Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink, HIL testing, and CAN tools preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The pay range for this role is:
70,000 - 95,000 USD per year (IL-Mossville)
