Job Description

DUTIES: Develop high and low voltage electrical systems models using tools including Saber, Matlab, Simulink, and Simscape. Perform electrical circuit analysis to deliver design solutions which are robust and reliable utilizing optimization and statistical methods. Work collaboratively with Propulsion and Battery System engineers, Electrical Architects, and component hardware design teams to ensure system requirements are met, design concepts are evaluated, and development and validation plans are successful. Collaborate with other CAE teams to integrate higher fidelity models like battery cell electrochemistry and thermal/CFD into electrical system simulations. Ensure on time delivery of high-quality results. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study. Two (2) years of experience as a Power Electronics Engineer, Power Electronics Design Engineer, or related occupation. Two (2) years of experience in the following: Electrical Data Analysis tools including Spice, Simulink, and Simscape; analysis of low and high voltage systems with electrified vehicles including BEV, EREV, PHEV, HEV, and BAS; Application of engineering theory and principles of operation for electrical mechanisms; electrical systems, controls and component development and validation; design, analysis and testing of electrical components; and Electromagnetics field theory.
