What You Will Be DoingIn this dynamic role, you'll guide employees through safe, efficient operational practices while fostering a high-performance, accountability-driven culture. You'll supervise and develop hourly staff, address performance concerns, and deliver essential training that keeps the team sharp and compliant with safety, environmental, quality assurance, and security standards. You'll collaborate closely with managers to set priorities, assign responsibilities, and drive mission-focused results. Daily work will include monitoring procedures, overseeing equipment operation, conducting inspections, and ensuring strict adherence to approved methods under normal and emergency conditions. You'll also play a key role in shaping training programs, developing test plans, reviewing documentation, and recommending staffing actions such as hiring, promotions, or disciplinary measures-all while modeling the professional standards expected across the section.
We'd Love to Hear from Candidates with - Minimum High school diploma or GED
- Completion/certification of a 5-year electrical apprenticeship program
- 2+ years electrical supervision experience
- 5+ years' experience in electrical and control system installation, maintenance, diagnostics, modification, and repair
- Must possess or obtain and maintain a Q Clearance
A Successful Candidate Also Brings - Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (or equivalent credential)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with high-voltage (13.8kV) and low-voltage (480V) systems in an industrial, manufacturing, or large facility environment
- 3-5 years of proven leadership experience supervising electrical teams or projects
- Deep knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
- Ability to interpret complex electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Demonstrated computer aptitude and strong technical skills
- Active Q-level security clearance or the ability to obtain one
Pay Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $95,012 - $158,353. This position is Incentive eligible. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. While the posted range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position, compensation above the range may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications and directly relevant experience.
