Job Title: Electrical Superintendent

Job Summary:
Bilfinger Industrial Services Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Electrical Superintendent to oversee the detailed planning and scheduling of electrical construction work. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are constructed safely, adhering to design, budget, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement detailed planning and scheduling for assigned electrical work.
- Perform estimating, create detailed material take-offs, size conduit and wiring per NEC standards, and procure necessary field materials.
- Integrate multiple engineering information packages to develop construction plans and deliverables for field operations and supervision.
- Review engineering information packages for constructability and completeness.
- Ensure that proper safety procedures are specified and documented for all planned jobs.
- Create a completion plan for all work orders, including labor estimates and materials needed.
- Specify tools and special equipment necessary for completing work orders.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and external suppliers to order required parts and materials.
- Participate in planning detailed shutdown and turnaround work.
- Oversee the orderly flow of work, ensuring timely completion based on work priorities.
- Work closely with other Construction Managers to align project goals.
- Directly interface with Owners and Engineers.
- Manage construction costs, including change orders related to assigned jobs.
- Write subcontractor bid packages.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- 2-3 years of industrial construction experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of LEAN principles is preferred.
- OSHA 10 & 30 Training is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong collaboration and team-building skills.
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Job Duties:

- Estimate jobs and order materials for industrial construction.
- Organize personnel and coordinate with engineers.
- Fill out permits and coordinate with area operations.
- Track job hours and determine conduit and wire routes.
- Ensure compliance with NEC Code requirements.
- Engage in some engineering tasks and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of 5KV and 13KV power distribution.
- Familiarity with instrumentation and electrical safety protocols.
