Full Job Description
Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Electrical Products Sales Manager (Medium Voltage). The position will be based at our facility in Greenville, SC or Greenwood, SC. We are offering relocation assistance for candidates who live outside of the area.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:

The Construction Sales Manager, Medium-Voltage (MV) Switchgear is responsible for analyzing the market to establish pricing strategies and forecast for the MV Switchgear product line across multiple manufacturing locations for our base construction business. The Construction Sales Manager communicates with customers, sales, engineering and operations to coordinate customer orders, site visits and technical questions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Maintain current knowledge and expertise of product engineering technologies, competitor capabilities and practices, market conditions, and market channels in order to develop short and long-term product marketing and sales strategies
• Grow and develop customer relationships for the purpose of effective product marketing and orders/ sales
• Manage assigned segments to achieve objectives related to volume, pricing, product mix, delivery performance, warranties, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate customer visits and inspections at the Greenwood facility with sales and PMO to support product marketing and sales functions
• Manage the preparation of effective quotations, bids, and related negotiation documentation
• Coordinate customer orders with engineering and manufacturing to ensure effective support
• Partner with sales and PMO to manage the installation of products at customer sites as appropriate and coordinate product warranties and continuing service functions for customers
• Respond to technical questions from customers in a timely, concise and professional manner to support product installation activities
• Partner with Omaha and Portland sister facilities to ensure sales and orders targets are achieved
• Collaborate with product marketing to sell new products to ensure financial/ ROI targets are achieved
• Provide training, instruction, and guidance to employees to ensure their knowledge of products and marketing/service methods

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, field engineering or operations in the power distribution industry

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with medium voltage switchgear and assemblies
• Minimum of 1 year of experience managing teams

Skills:

POSITION CRITERIA:
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI)
• Knowledge of electrical distribution products, features, marketing and sales strategies, current market trends and existing competitive situations
• Ability to analyze product markets relative to competitor prices, market trends and product features to formulate effective marketing strategies and plans
• Ability to price products to attain desired company sales volume and market penetration considering current market trends, product features and existing competitive situations
• Manage and provide coaching to a team of Division Sales Engineers giving them targets for orders, pricing, and development
